Becker College offers students the chance to live both the bustling, cosmopolitan lifestyle in Worcester, New England’s second largest city or a quiet, rural life in the historic, New England town of Leicester. The combined enrollment of the two college campuses is over 30,000 students. Of this number, 22 students make up the Becker College Equestrian Team, which the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association ranks as one of the top-five teams of Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Becker College Equestrian Facility
Becker’s horse boarding and equestrian arenas are located in Paxton, MA, which is located southeast of Worcester. Students can either take a convenient shuttle bus to the horse facility from both the Worcester and Leicester campuses or drive the scenic route to Paxton.
With over 30 acres of rural land, Becker College features a charming New England setting for its hunter/jumper equestrian facilities. The horse turn-out pastures border Moore State Park, the 400-acre, hardwood forest, conservation area with picturesque waterfalls, hiking trails and recreation areas.
Along with large, turn-out pastures, Becker’s horse center also has an indoor riding arena for all weather riding and competition. The indoor arena allows students to work in a well-ventilated area with dust-reducing arena footing and superior foot traction. A large outdoor ring also provides the equestrian team with a safe, controlled area to work with their horses in a natural setting. The school’s round training penis ideal for students to improve their riding skills and bond with their horses.
Becker also offers horse boarding and 24/7 care for horses, along with a quarantine barn with three stalls. Students can groom and bathe their horses in the outdoor wash stalls.

Becker College Equine Studies
Becker offers students interested in equine study the opportunity to earn a professional career in many areas of the horse industry. The horse program teaches horse handling, training, riding, horse nutrition and breeding. Interested equine students also take part in riding school, stable and stud farm management classes, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science.
